Dreams

After discussing dreams as a group, I immediately thought of Man Ray and his work as his images possess a surreal quality in which I admire. The image above of Dora Maar (1936) by Man Ray gives me the feeling as if the woman is trapped, the fact there are two of the same woman visible almost gives the illusion of her moving around rapidly. This image reminded me of one of my own images taken not long ago showing a girl spinning so quickly details of her body, clothes, facial expression is lost completely.
